Hi, I'm Brittany.
My name is Brittany N. Brooks, Founder and CEO of Yosi Publishing House, and before I was a publisher, I spent 17 years inside the halls of federal government as a senior strategic communications analyst and speechwriter, crafting words for generals, Cabinet Secretaries, chief operating officers, and senior executives across some of the most influential agencies in the country. I built communication systems, developed enterprise-wide strategies, created policies and procedures, and led teams through some of the most complex organizational transformations in the federal government.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications from James Madison University and an Executive MBA from Averett University. But my story doesn't stop there; I have lived the journey of writing books myself, having authored a few, including FL;P® — Finding Love In Purpose®.
I learned early that words are not just language. They are legacy. They shape perception, shift perspective, and change the trajectory of people's lives. That conviction is what I bring to every author I serve.
This Was Never My Plan. It Was God.
The Lord did not ask me if I wanted to be a publisher. He assigned me to it. What I know now is that every season of my life—every speech I wrote, every executive I served, every word I carefully crafted inside those government walls—was preparation for this moment. God was training me long before I knew what I was being trained for.
In 2025, He called me out of a 17-year federal career and into full-time purpose work. I did not hesitate. I had seen too much of His faithfulness to negotiate with His timing.
But the deepest root of Yosi Publishing House is not my career. It is my brother. He carried a dream of publishing a book that he never got to see fulfilled. He fought the good fight while battling cancer, and when the Lord called him home, his dream did not leave with him. It became my assignment to carry. And in the sacred space between grief and obedience, Yosi Publishing House was born—built on the promise that the stories God places inside His people will never go untold.
The name Yosi, rooted in Hebrew, means Yahweh will add. That is not just our name. It is our testimony. God took my grief, my pain, and my brother's unfulfilled dream, added it to my purpose, and multiplied it into a publishing house that now carries the stories of Kingdom voices across the world.
