Empowering the Next Generation of Storytellers

The Author In Me Creative Writing Program™

In 2025, we proudly launched The Author In Me (A.I.M.) Creative Writing Program™, a mentorship and literacy initiative for youth ages 7–17. This program is specifically designed to equip underprivileged, minority youth in the DC Metropolitan, Virginia, and Maryland areas with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to become powerful storytellers, readers, and emerging leaders. Through partnerships with local charter schools, aftercare programs, and community organizations, A.I.M. provides engaging workshops, mentorship, and hands-on publishing experiences that foster reading and writing literacy, growth, and entrepreneurial skills.
